My first time seeing this

CCB and a few other breweries do the Homefront series. This will be CCB's 3rd year I think.

It's okay, the maple flavor really doesn't come through too much.

Damn straight, though I've been addicted to their Blindfold lately...weird since I'm normally not big on black IPAs.

No BD yet. Just wanted to check in. I see BMoney starting the thread RaginCajun style...no pic.

So I see after my thread last week about the 4-Way IPA you were inspired to pick up a box?

Yeah. Can't pass it up for the price. The nooner is not very good but I really like the black IPA.

I'm pretty "meh" on the "nooner/all-day" IPAs. I guess because I'm expecting that good IPA spunk and don't get it, obviously since it's meant to be something someone can drink "all day".

Probably if I'd temper my expectation of those beers to be more along the lines if a little bit hoppier pale ale, I might not be as disappointed.

A very damn good 12 pack for the price, though. I don't think I'm ever tried a Sierra Nevada beer that I would rank below being at least a good beer.

all-dayers are my way of making it through the workweek without adding a shitload of calories and waking up with a severe hangover
