Depends on the stout, there's not a hard and fast rule. Some will develop nicely for years, some will oxidize relatively quickly. I generally google it and read a few different perspectives before I make a decision.

As an aside, I really don't like these 16 oz bottles of BCBS. It's just too much for me in one sitting. Oh well.

Yep, last of 5 then swap to days for 4.

Managed BCBS Friday in the middle of all this go it isn't that bad.

I love the look of the new BCBS bottle but wish they'd stick with 4 packs.

I had one Friday night. Yes, it it good. Like others have said though, these larger bottles are better shared.

FBD is an Envie

Dear Parish / Mockler / local retailers,
Please keep this beer fresh on shelves, like Great Raft has done with Commotion. Over the past 2 years I have seen Envie on shelves in BR at a mean age of 4 months.

Or just get a quality cork. Every maven should invest in one for +500ml bottles. The one I use keeps the beers in good shape for 2-3 days.

1 - 6 bd's / had a six pack of Corona while doing yard work all day

7 b d / Lagunitas CitruSinensis Pale Ale

Holy citrus batman. Snacking on a couple funky cheeses which really go well with this beer.

Really? Wine corks will do? They stay good after losing carbonation?

Usually with the cork/stopper I use loss of carbonation is minimal. I guess there is the argument for oxidation, but I have never noticed really of flavors over a couple days.

Just make sure you can get a right seal. This one has a bolt down the middle and expands some rubber o-rings when twisted. One of those wine saver things probably works just as well.

Drink the entire beer and stop being a wuss. Wine corks for beer? WTF is wrong with you people?

FBD-Colorado's version of a New England style ipa, pretty good, i would like a little bitterness though
