If you can't pronounce it, you can't drink it.

I'll let you guess which finger it is this time...

Legitimate Q for you, and some other NOLA posters. Have a job opportunity in the area, would require me moving there in the next 1-2years after the wife is done with school. Where to live? Early 30's, no kids (maybe one day), preferably buy. Not full OT baller, around 2k/month.

Hello Wise, what's happening? Ummmmm, I'm going to need you to go ahead and come in tomorrow. So if you could be here around 9, that would be great.

what size house would you be looking for and how long do you think you would be there?

My first time trying this one and I'm really liking it. More like a iipa than ipa. Good combination of both citrus and pine.

Would be permanent, house size isn't a huge concern, we adapt and aren't huge house people. At least 1600. Looked at possibly building. Lakeview is awesome, but one lot I talked to someone about was 200k.

Think that set us on the buy/remodel path.

Permanent with the possibility of having kids I would look at Lakeview too.

Yes good real estate in New Orleans can be very very high .. especially uptown/garden district and parts of Lakeview. I would look in parts of Metairie, Harahan, River Ridge .. probably get the most for your money out there. If you want to live in Orleans parish you can find some good remodel type places in Midcity. Over off of Esplanade south of the racetrack is a cool little area.
