I mean, compared to stuff like Duet or Ghost, yeah..,,it's way behind.

As a nice, simple, refreshing beer on a hot summer day, I enjoy it. Wish they canned it for pool/beach consumption.

Somebody gets it. And I had it in my Ragin Cajun coozie too.

The Duet deserves a nice glass to enhance the smell.

FBD was a Foundrrs Sumatra Brown while watching Louisiana NCAA baseball. Next up:

Drinking nicely, with oak and vanilla dominating.

FBD: Tree House Julius

This shite is incredible, but it also makes me realize how great Ghost is cause it stacks right up there with the beers like this one.

JasonL -

You did that right
Very nice haul. Mine may have looked a little more like that, but we saved some room for wine in Sonoma. Well done though.
Had the Hawaiian Speedway Stout while in SF at Toronado. One of the best stouts I've had.

I shipped 18 bottles of wine back also. Definitely not a cheap trip.

I wish they would have had some more one off/special releases of speedway stout at Alesmith. It's a good stout on its own. I grabbed the Mexican chocolate speedway but noticed they had a few editions that were rated a good bit higher (hammerhead, bourbon barrel aged, Vietnamese coffee, etc).

Didn't get a chance to visit Toronado but the guys at Russian River highly recommended it.
