FBD is a SNPA with chicken taquitos (the frozen boxed kind). Fancy dinner I made myself.

KJI: I spent Friday night at that bar and had a good time, but man.. you're really right about he discrepancy between the chalkboard and the actual taps. My gin martini was nearly undrinkable with the amount of olive juice in it too

I've had a few indeed brewing beers, including that one, and they've all been very nice.

Today the Commotion was not up on the board. I've learned to ignore the board and just walk over and check out the tap handles. It is somewhat aggravating, but it is not like I am going to stop going there over it. The place is just too close to my office and perfect for a happy hour beverage.

Damn. I've never had a problem with any cocktails there.

I am enjoying this. It is hoppy and not overly malty for my tastes, but the malt is different from what I was expecting. Something about it reminds me of an English pale ale. Further research is necessary.

It was wayyyyy too much, believe me. It was like licking a salt block. If the place wasn't slammed, I would have gone up after I finished half of it and asked them to shake it with a few more ice cubes or something.

Very nice. I don't think I've ever had that one. Still so many great beers out there to try.

3BD is a Castle Danger Ode IPA. Another first time try. Very fruity and grassy. Very little malt presence. Not bad. Further research is necessary.

It's a solid DIPA. We're going to 3 Floyd's on Saturday, so if I install imgur or something on my phone by then, I'll have lots to share!

FBD - Sticky Hands at ABV Pub. I could have gotten this at ABV Pub or Orenco Taphouse - two west side places. What the hell is going on? This stuff will be aging on the shelves before long...

OK, so is the "regular" recipe post the production expansion? Is it as good as before. I always liked the variants, but the regular SH was a top 3 DIPA for me and its BR fan club.

FBD was found in the back of the fridge. Definitely not fresh but not bad. Funky little aftertaste going on from the age.

They haven't done a one off in several months. I think they are trying to get the regular recipe back to where it was, pre expansion.

Its really close to back to normal. The first batch after the expansion was really good, but tasted a little mellow.

I'm happy to get some on the west side of town and this late in the month. I will send some your way next week.

NBD - Lagunitas Fusion 26. Fresh Hop IPA. Fresh hops usually give a fresher hop profile that is more mellow than the dried hops. This one is extra mellow. Maybe this is due to the previous beer.
