Just did my yard work. Late summer invasive clearing in the woods along the creek. Only two snakes and three ticks.

A garter and either a king or rat. Didn't get a good look at the second one. We both saw each other just long enough to quickly go our separate ways.

Lots of these in my yard. We have snake sightings often, but I've never seen one of the poisonous varieties.
