FBD and 2BD were at NOLA. Some of their limiteds. Blonde with papaya and then grapefruit IPA. 3BD at Bulldog, Santa Fe Black IPA. Uneventful Monday

Those sound interesting. But I'm not allowed to ask about them apparently. From the Yankee who wished big jake he went out of business.

Like to think I don't cause drama in the FBD thread. I know I'm a non maven Chatty Cathy but I try to be drama free here. The Big Jake drama wasn't in the FBD thread but another thread started by a resturaunt operator asking about what beer to have on tap. I did have a difference of opinions with big jake on "New Orleans style poboys" but I'm surly not a Yankee.
Back to the beer. Danno I really wouldn't call those beers yezzy had limited but rather just some shite they threw on the wall to see what sticks. The grapefruit IPA is ok but they had a grapefruit DIPA that was really good.

That's a better way of putting it. I'd call it small batch stuff, but even that has the implication that it's supposed to be high quality and sought after. It's definitely an experimental thing.
