Had an interesting conversation with Nick Arzner, the brewer at Block 15. He said he and his staff frequently have blind tasting tests with beers from other breweries to see what they like and don't like about their beer versus their competitor's beer.
He uses the blind taste tests to help in the evolution of his beers, by taking the qualities that he likes from several other beers and trying to incorporate them into his beers. He's always trying to improve his beers, and sometimes it takes a couple of years to get it where he wants it.
He also said he can tell you exactly how much Sticky Hands he will be brewing for the next 5 years, because of the hop contracts he has signed through the year 2021.
Oh, yeah, this was his first trip to ABV Pub. He said, "I have no idea where I am, or how to get here, but I dig this place a lot."

good but feel like a fool paying almost $20 for a sixer
Alpine used to sale bombers of it for $6, so at $17 a sixer(here) that is a better deal. Also if you were not lucky enough to have the Alpine non Green Flash version you missed out. This beer is good and I will buy it occasionally(which says a lot for a non local ipa) but the original Alpine version was one beer for the rest of your life good.
FBD- Having a few pulls off of the Yeti keg. My AHA discount makes these kegs only $60 so I am paying about a buck a beer. I can't believe non of y'all have stepped up to the keg game. Sculpin kegs here are $90, yes grapefruit also, so it makes drinking it affordable.

If I had the space and the pull to land quality kegs I would really think about it.

I guess I could get rid of nightstand and switch it out with a keg

Girl I used to date in college had a mini fridge she used as a nightstand. Dorm life. That'd be perfect for a kegerator

Yep, let me just roll on down to my local Albertsons and get a keg of Great Divide Yeti. Or Sculpin.
Truthfully, there isn't much available here that I'd want an entire keg of. And the ones that I would want a keg of are too limited anyway.
So, I'll just continue to keep homebrews on tap instead.
