A few years ago, I saw Abita strawberry sell out in a day at a north Houston store.

It's true. Awful, disgusting beer. But stupid, basic women of less than reputable reputation love it. And dumb dudes. It's sub-mediocre. But people like it.

I hear they serve Abita outside of Yankee Stadium. Can't deny demand.

So I busted out 2 because I remember someone on here recently saying it was on its way to infection. Sure enough, it was. For whoever posted that, how did you know that? And why?

It's a good crawfish boil beer. And the two season go hand and hand. What started off as a festival only beer has grown into this crazy cult like following. IMO a brewey showcasing LA ingredients and having so much success is something to be proud of. Yes I realize they don't make beers that get the beer guys hard but you can't discount what that have done. To have a brewery from Abita Springs get distributed to something like 46 states is pretty impressive. Now with the pressure of other breweries and craft beers popularity lets see what they can do.

I concur. Strawberry with hot crawfishies is a combo I like

Waiting for you to get that cold mountain winter ale. I know a lot of people don't like it, but had it for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. Need to put a call into my cousin tom to see if she can bring some in soon
