Don't laugh, but microwave rules
Mix 1 pound light brown sugar with 1 pint of heavy whipping cream, cook 10 minutes on high in big glass bowl, then add 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, pinch of salt and 2 cups pecans and drop spoonfuls on foil

I’ve never made them, but my preference is to have the crispy pralines as opposed to the gooey pralines.
