Mine:

I've thought about buying a rice cooker, but it's pretty easy cooking rice on a stovetop. Is it worth it to buy one?

I have one of these. It's like a pizza stone on steroids. Makes great pizza.

Hearthkit

Unfortunately no longer available from the manufacturer. I got mine cheap on eBay.

Not sure this qualifies as a gadget

Not really a gadget but I couldn't do without prep bowls. I like to be organized when I'm throwing down in the kitchen.

pampered chef mini-chopper. it's not an electric mini-food processor thing, it's a chopper. I use it all the time and I LOVE it.

Also, the garlic press. use that a bunch, too.

It's not a gadget, but I have a good set of knives, a good chopping board, good kitchen shears, good pans, etc. Once I got past grad school days, we only bought the good stuff and it has served us well.

Mine is the flip-and-fry. You know, the tuperware that you batter the fish/chicken in.

Yeah,I love my flip and fry too. But since Ibought my own grinder and started using only freshly ground meat, I don't know how I ever got along without it.

one of the most useful gadgets in my house is also the potatoe masher. I make a potatoe salad for every meal. A BIG OLE YELLOW ONE.
