this. i liked mom's pancakes, waffles, french toast, etc. but as a kid (and now as an adult), my favorite breakfast is eggs, bacon, grits, hash-browns and biscuits/toast.

The International House of Pancakes ruled back in the day, before they were IHOP. You could get food in the shape of a smiley face AND there was a caddy of multi flavored syrups which you could do some serious damage with. It was a total win for a child.
