Lol what? Its a shitty pizza place that no one really goes to to drink

I remember going there a lot during the 2010 NBA Finals. They had $1 beers every night. I think it had just opened.

Yeah, Perkins had $1 all drafts for 2 months to get more business.

Supposedly, Last In loses money on that location.

They offer $1 beers(10oz mugs) because no one goes there. The one by Perkins overpass is always dead. Helps that they have a gold mine in walkons to keep a shitty place like Schlitz alive.

Downtown survives because of drunk people wanting food and nothing else is on the street opened late.

Rarely hear someone going there just to drink

If I'm gonna go drink in BR I'll probably head to Pelican House because I have buddies that work there, The Bulldog because the tap selection isn't bad, or lately we've been to Olive or Twist pretty regularly because it's right beside my buddy's house.

I love OorT. We rarely go just because it's not near anything else, and we're bar hoppers.

They're KILLING it right now with Rum House next door though. Good for them :D

I think Jones always downvotes OorT when I recommend it because he knows if I go there, I'm not drinking beer. So it's a larger bar tab than elsewhere.

We had about 8 drinks there a couple weeks ago and got out for under $20. Apparently they know my buddy because that's happened each time we went there.

Do you have to wait 8 hours for a table at Rum House in BR too? Meh.

Yes. I somehow got talked into going with my group last night. 11 people, like 1.5 hour wait. Bleh.

Olive or Twist is cool. Nice little beer list for a cocktail bar. Place is always packed now with rum house next door. IRS good because I don't think they were doing very well before.

Lately I'm more down for the less beaten path because I'm not in BR a lot and I'd rather not sit in the usual places with all the regulars and their drama/bullshite.

Your mistakes:

1) You went to Rum House
2) You went to dinner with a group of 11
3) You actually waited 90 minutes on a table. At Rum House.

I can't imagine that was a pleasurable experience. Then again, I'd never want to go to dinner with that many people. I also don't know where else you could have gone with that many people. The Chinese buffet on College Drive still open?

I didn't know that many people were going or else I'd have said no way. But we had been out drinking and I went along with it.

We didn't wait that long. About 30 mins because someone knew the hostess, but still..

I didn't eat. I had already eaten. So waiting wasn't a big deal because I wasn't hungry. We grabbed beers and a picnic table on the back patio where it's just seating for drinking (no waitress), so it was no different for me.

Otherwise, frick that wait.

Yes. It would be an OKAY bar if your group of friends were the only ones in it.
