Actually, it is a chain. We have one in Baybrook Mall in Htown. In fact, wife and I had a whiskey cake for dessert after supper tonight. Good place indeed.

I’m not tired of it if it’s actually farm to table. Restaurants should be able to generally tell you where key ingredients are sourced if it’s farm to table, which is good because it supports local agriculture. What do you not like about it?

Real farm to table is a great thing. Support your local farmers.

Ever buy produce at the farmers market? It tastes better than commercially homogenized produce grown thousands of miles away, it's more environmentally sustainable, and you get to support locals. What's not to like?

It is severely aggrandized. They come up with a farm name and make it sound exotic. Often it’s a place with oil runoff and pesticide laden.

The idea is great, but it is also about marketing. For example, "sourced from xyz" and for most people they don't have a clue what xyz is, but it attempts to give validity and value to the product, but some times that source is located next to a landfill or refinery, and the majority of us are none the wiser.

Nothing better than cutting a neck off a chicken and throwing it right into the pot, minus the feathers.

Growing up almost everything was farm to table. Now you pay extra for it.
