About $100 on the second hand market, but there are better bourbons out there for the second hand price...

I would just get some Four Roses Small Batch. It is also a high rye bourbon and can be found for $30 or so on the reg,

ETA Best tasting juice for the price IMO is gonna be Old Grandad 114, for 23.99 it has to be the best bang for your buck.

Where do you live? There are a few stores that have enough volume and are very good at picking barrels. They purchase the entire barrel and sell them.

I don't understand the price point of these bourbons. I used to see E.T. Lee on the shelves a few years back, and it was $50 max. Now everything that was once common place is deemed "rare" and they jack the prices up.

It wouldn't be secondary and it wouldn't be from me. Just know where some are sitting - I don't have anyone that can go snag them for me but maybe we can work together and both win.

I think it was orignally in the upper $30's, and a good MSRP for that bottle, then all hell broke loose with demand and the supply will not catch up for years. The result is many bottles never make it to the shelf (held in the back for good customers and friends.) It started with Pappy and exploded from there to most decent bottles. Hell even the standard Buffalo Trace is on allocation.

ETL used to be about $28-$32 before he passed. Now its not a all the time release...that translates to rayer...thats starts to add $. Then they push the price until no one buys and now your paying a hundo for ETL.

When you say the best juice for the lowest price are you wanting the lowest price or your customer? I wouldn't pay 100 for ETL...I would get eagle rare, 4 rouses, or EHT small batch (single barrel if you can find it on a shelf).

I agree about the ETL being overrated from a cost perspective. Grab some bottles of Henry McKenna which is a great Bourbon for the price or run down to NASA Liquor in Clear Lake (not the Pasadena store) and pick up a store barrel pick of something. They usually have quite a few.
