Eliza is doing a three course menu every week now

Got the email from them on Monday so the wife and I went there last night to try it and celebrate a work promotion. The price for 3 courses was $27, which is a great price considering some of their entrees run around $25-$28.
The menu for this week was:
Housemade Boudin with Eliza pickles and grainy mustard
Quick Review: While not on par with a Billy's or Best Stop, it was still a very solid boudin. The mustard was really good (spicy but the perfect level) and the sweet and hot pickles pared nicely. 3.5/5
Gulf Shrimp Ya-Ka-Mein with hard boiled egg, sliced green onions, spaghetti in a rich shrimp both
Quick Review: Being from New Orleans, I've never had yakamein, but this dish was really good. The shrimp were fresh and plentiful. The broth though was the real star. Very good flavor. 4.25/5
Lemon Goat Cheese Crepes with blackberry-cognac sauce
Good end to the meal. I am not a fan of heavy desserts at restaurants, and these crepes were light and delicious with a little bruleed sugar on top. The goat cheese paired well with the lemon and blackberry, and there was a nice hint of cognac. 4/5 stars
All in all, Eliza has me really intrigued for what they will be offering weekly. I highly recommend taking advantage of this menu because I believe it ends Saturday.

Thanks for the review. Eliza is one of my favorites in the neighborhood. Great little spot to have a good meal with a nice variety of options.

It's definitely my favorite place in Baton Rouge at the moment and my wife and I go at least once every two weeks for lunch or dinner. Depending on these menus, it might be weekly!

It seems that they’ve finally caught on. I’ve probably been 4-5 times. The last couple visits were much busier than before.
Top 10 BR Restaurant IMO. Glad they’re doing well.
Thanks for the tip!
