Haven't seen hardly any news about it, but a friend said the Red Stick Social place is open now.
Has anyone been yet? Thoughts?

Went to the soft opening for Red Stick Social.
Thought it was good. Jalepeno cornbread was solid. Got a burger that was also pretty good. Nothing amazing, but its a cool place on the interior. I would go to eat, drink, and listen to music. Prices on the food were pretty good I thought. Menu was pretty big, but most items were $10-12.
Place has 5 "floors", but each one is kind of like a half floor with a small flight of stairs between them. 1st and 2nd floors are pretty connected. 1st floor was music and tables that seemed like more of a seat yourself environment, whereas the 2nd floor was bar and tables to eat and I believe that was more of the waited seating part. 3rd floor had 2 bowling lanes and a lookout onto the 1st floor. 4th floor I am pretty sure is all private event space. 5th floor was 2 more bowling lanes, a small bar setup and the outdoor patio... It was kinda unclear what all would be private event spaces, but I really hope its just the 4th floor.

I went to a tour back late last year. I think the private event space will be opened up, if there are no events going on. On the flip side, the whole space is available for private groups if they want to rent out the entire building.
