Lagniappe - got a little of everything: some texmex, seafood, american. Got great chips and salsa for a restaurant that is not primarily texmex. There is a location in Baker on Plank and one in Zachary on Hwy 64
Cafe Phoenecia - probably the GOAT Greek/Lebanese in the greater BR area. Just fantastic.
Arzi's - pretty damn good in its own right. Great people running the place.
Cajun Catch - pretty good seafood place. Has other stuff. My favorite is the au jus roast beef poboy.
Jarreau's - good seafood place. They got one in New Roads also.
LeBlanc's - has AWESOME hot plate lunches. Great hamburgers. Nachos are great. This is a top tier lunch spot for me. Been in business a long time.

Hong Kong Buffet
Oishi
China Wok
I rank them in that order but 1999 me ate at China Wok like it was closing the next day.

Papis
Vaqueros
El Agave

If you are coming from Baker/BR on Highway 19 and heading North, its a block before Superior Ford on the left. LeBlanc's Drive In is what the sign says. It has a used car lot right before it.

LeBlanc’s is one of my favorite burgers. Just a good burger done right, nothing unnecessary.
