Can't help yet. I'll be in Orlando next week or so on business and I'll try to work on it from there.

Hopefully, someone here will point you in the right direction. Me as well.

Bump, I'm going to Orlando next week as well. I'd like to see if anyone has any recommendations.

I was there a few weeks ago for a conference at the Gaylord Palms. Ate twice on the resort and twice off. The two dinners off were at Orlando Ale House (great atmosphere and good food) and at Spice Steakhouse downtown. Excellent steak!

Hope this helps...

I ate there Friday night, conch fritters were good but I'd rather eat next door at Emerils

Towlie, have you even been to spice? I thought it was an excellent steak.

Ok good. I'd really be going more for the atmosphere, so as long as the food's decent, that's cool with me.

No never been to Spice. If I'm downtown I'll usually go to Kress Chophouse or Del Frisco's for steak.

I lived there for 5 months doing an internship at a firm a few years back. It's not a super hot bed of gourmet food. Best place i went to was Coq Au Vin. There are also tons of places in Winter Park. Beluga is nice, and they've got some chain places like Flemings.

There's an Ale House across the street from you, its pretty good bar food, mostly chains in that immediate area, down on Sand Lake Rd theres Timpanos, Moonfish, Antonios, Seasons 52, Roys, Ruths Chris, Bonefish, Mortons all good places, all within a five minute drive of the Hyatt.

There are many good restaurants down that stretch. Vines is a wine bar with a restaurant that has live Jazz many nights.

Here is a list of many of the restaurants.

Cedar's is also really good Lebanese food.
