I save bacon grease. Everything else is dumped in a bag or bottle and thrown away.

I'll usually pour into a cup or bowl, let harden, and then scoop out with a big spoon...into trash bag and into the trash (or freezer if I'm not taking the trash out that day).

I just pour in empty beer can and a couple patches of duct tape over the opening so it doesn't spill in the garbage can. I never have a shortage of those containers around.
