There was another thread of foods that I miss, and I mentioned Mettwurst. After looking over Patak's LONG list of sausages, sadly, Mettwurst is not listed.

Smoking Pig on Hwy 76 on the way to Clemson near Anderson, SC if you'll be passing through Thursday-Sunday. Phenomenal BBQ.

Fox Brothers BBQ, a few minutes from downtown. It's a right turn off 85. Get the brisket. It's life changing. Also, get the thick bologna and frito sandwich as the appetizer.
