Drago's does one thing well and its the charbroiled, and traditionally they do them very well. The rest is pretty dogshit. ACME's are not good at all in my opinion, terrible even. Felix's are a lot better than they should be imo. They are really solid.

I had a post I typed up saying the same thing and apparently never hit submit.

You are correct. Dragos oysters are legit. I don’t like anything else on that menu though. The stuffed lobster that’s supposed to be great is not good.

Right in time for hurricane season to start ramping up. I hope they know their equipment needs to be easy to relocate since the lakefront floods pretty easily. But, this will be a good thing for Mandeville IF they serve a quality product.

They’ll likely be better on the northshore than in BR. If Dragos oysters in BR were cooked correctly the clientele would send them back every time to be cooked hard. This is why people that love Drago’s oysters done correctly hated them in BR.

I took a friend to Dragos for her birthday last week. Or was pretty good but expensive for what we got. The shrimp were tough with little flavor but the oysters and the redfish were really good.
