re: Double Decker taco is back at Taco Bell

Hopefully imgur doesnt suck. Here are some double Deckers. I opted to not get the Supreme but you can customize at the kiosk and do whatever you want. They're pretty good and they are noticeably bigger than the regular tacos. It is convenient having the hard taco break in the savior soft taco.
The kiosk is a godsend to custom nachos though.
Only downside to the meal was a I had to listen to some jackass talk on his phone the entire meal. Mind you he is on Bluetooth. Walked in talking as I sat down and was still talking as I left. Ate the whole time also. How the hell can you sit on the phone for twenty minutes while someone eats in your ear. Also the conversation was all bullshite. Its like when you're a teenager on the phone and half the conversation is breathing. fricking trashball

And yes we are celebrating Christmas.

Damn we were probably in there at the same time.
I wasn’t the a-hole on the Bluetooth
They were a lot bigger than I remembered, couldn’t finish 2 of them.
Also didn’t remember them having spicy ranch sauce on them.
Much better execution than the Mexican pizza revival. Good job Taco Bell.

On top of the guy on the phone, who was like 55 and black in a work zone jacket, who I was assuming wasnt you, almost got wrecked into by some other guy on his phone about 100 feet from pulling in. Dude just swerves in my lane like im not even there.

Every order I had since the double decker was introduced included 2 double decker tacos. I was pissed when they discontinued them years ago. Hopefully, they will bring them back for good.

I remember this was pretty revolutionary when they first rolled it out in the 90s, and its how we eat tacos at home now.
Last trip to Taco Bell the 2 chalupa combo was somewhere in the neighborhood of $14. ~$50 for a family of 4, I'm just not paying that for Taco Bell. I'm turning into my grandfather.

Cheesy bean and rice burrito is $1.00. Order one of those with only beans, open it up and wrap around your taco shell, trim off excess.

I should have known that our local Taco Bell wouldn’t produce anything close to that picture, but two posts in this thread changed my mind. Needless to say, the two I got didn’t look anything like those pictures. We’re stuck with a ghetto Taco Bell and y’all have one that looks like the test kitchen from Taco Bell that Conan O’Brien went too.
