I have a kj and its by far the best grill i have ever had maintenance wise. I also have a masterbuilt gravity and it is terrible build quality and way more maintenance to keep clean. Not to mention all the inside is rusting out and im sure particles end up on the food with a fan blowing then around.
not my pictures but mine has similar issues:
this is what worries me most as far as getting on the food. material looks like some kind of fiberglass

It's an outdoor oven.
It is, but without a temperature knob. I haven't touched my 2 primos in years because my MBGS I can just light and set to whatever temp I want (150-700) and walk away...and check my phone to see if it's ready. Then if I want it to be 500 degrees from 250 I just turn a knob and have a drink until it hits 500 a cpl min later. Now the MBGS is no wear near the quality of my Primos nor is it as efficient but being able to dial in the temp I want and just stand around until it hits is nice. Also, the space of my 1050 vs the 2 primos is night and day. Not saying it's the way to go but that's probably the PITA talk going around. Pellets and the GS have the ease of temp control, on the ceramics, you have to hook up fans and controllers and still mess with the vents.
Either way GS/ceramics/stick burners > pelets

Pretty much every review I have ever seen. Seems they only last a few years.

Just fired the egg up to reverse sear the Picanha. I feel like I have it down to a science now, and I strongly recommend a temp controller if convenience of use is important to you.
I HIGHLY recommend both the Kick Ash basket, and the Kick Ash Can. This makes cleanup extremely quick, easy, and convenient

Walmart is running that sale on its website. Looks like 40% off the original Joes.
