I get it from BevMo here in Southern California. It's not the same as it was back in the 70's and 80's when every bottle was a different tasting beer. Now it always taste the same.

I have a friend that keeps one of the old cans from back in the day as decoration.

When I get drunk, I tell him that I'll shotgun it. Could you imagine the taste?

Well, if you have any sickness it should kill it.

The liquor store on Perkins between Acadian and College always stocks Dixie. (I can't ever remember the name of it, but if you as old as I am you'll remember it as the old Cuban Liquor.. )

I always was a dixie fan,a different taste everytime but now, these guys in Wisconsin are really doing a bang up job.I don't know, maybe nostalgia but it always has been to me the #1 beer with fried or boiled seafood:)

the "new" Dixie is bottled in Wisconsin and their brewmaster is vey consistent.Had a long conversation with a yat waiter at Dragos, hell of a guy, about Dixie and how many folks turned up their nose at it until they tried it.A shame the obamites looted the brewery during the storm taking all the old copper and ancient brewing equipment but yet,Dixie lives!!:)

This would be Marcello's, 3911 Perkins Road.
