I hear that they have a Burger King that's pretty nice. Take a left at the trailer park...

There are a few places.
Little Dooey
Bulldog Burger (somewhat like the Chimes)
Bin 612
These places are in the Cotton District. There are shops and bars in the area.

Also, there is Taste and Harveys. These are a little nicer establishments.

Commodore bobs
Restaurant Tyler. Hit up the speakeasy bar behind back after called the guest room
Taste Italian kitchen
Older Brother is a great new spot but small so probably a long wait
Board town pizza is solid
Bulldog burger
Bin 612 but likely crawling with college kids
Camp house but haven’t been there in years so not sure if it’s still decent
Dave’s dark horse is a classic dive bar with good deep dish pizza if that’s your thing
Georgia blue
Harvey’s and the grill are alright
Have heard good things about big E’s dinner club but haven’t been

Anthony’s in West Point if you’re willing to make the 25 minute trek

There’s a few more standard options but that’s a good start. Highly recommend Restaurant Tyler and commodore bobs

ETA: little dooey is average/below average bbq but their fried catfish is good. It’s been there for years and the espn guys used to love it but there is far better bbq out in the south/MS

What's the plain steak joint in Columbus? I've had good meals there.

You might be thinking of old hickory. Little steak shack off hwy 45 that serves only filet, ribeye, or strip served with baked potato or salad. I grew up in Columbus but haven’t been there in years.
