In town for one night. Looking for good food. Preferably not a chain. I’ve been to Superior. No preference but open to steaks or Asian or Italian. TIA

Friend,

Frank's has the state's best pizza. Shreveport doesn't have claim to any other best-in-state food items, so if you're seeking Italian, Frank's should be on your list. The salads there are also quite pleasant, especially their Caesar, which, after I requested, had the most regal of anchovies.

Yours,

I might only venture there in the daylight.

Superior steakhouse is a good place for a nice dinner.

Did you go somewhere last night?

Another good one is Fat Calf Brasserie (Tues - Sat; dinner only).

Ki Mexico is always a good choice.

Zuzul Coastal Cuisine is another. Dinner selections are far better than lunch IMO.

These are the three best restaurants in the city.

Lucky Palace is not in the city, but it's very good.
