Also had beers with Craig Seger before the LSU - Duke game in Atlanta. He was so cool and down to earth. Got a great picture with him. Turns out he was waiting on Doug Collins (76ers coach) to go root for Duke.

Since TD is usally pics or GTFO, here's one I took of Kevin Pollak while having some brews with him in Raleigh.
Still not sure what he was doing in Carolina.

I sat at a table with Pele and Wolgang Puck at a banquet to celebrte the start of the 1994 World Cup at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose. Pele was telling stories about his first World Cup, and how the event had grown so much larger. Everyone else pretty much sat and listened.
I ate luch with Jack Binion, Doyle Brunson and Chip Reese at least once a week in 1995 at the old Horseshoe in Las Vegas. They'd tell great stories about cash games and famous poker players.

1958 in Sweden. He was 17. They beat Sweden in the finals. I would have lost it.

I have had dinner twice with Morgan Freeman
Why does this not surprise me in the least bit?
ETA I sat next to glassman in a bar once. He refused to give me his autograph though

A few years ago, I was interning in DC and struck up small talk with Ben Affleck just grabbing some finger food at a reception.
I introduced myself acting like I didn't know him... He knew it was bullshite and smiled as he said his name, but he appreciated it. Asked about where I'm from, what I do etc. At the end he came over and shook my hand and just said to take care. I hesitantly asked him to sign something for my sister and he did it for me and then asked if I needed anything else, I asked for a picture and he was happy to do it. Very nice guy
If you treat them like normal people it's incredible how well they will treat you back.
Also, Harrison Ford sat next to me at Charlie Palmer's last year, didn't get to talk to him but it was pretty fricking cool to eat a steak dinner with Han Solo sitting at the next table.

The ESPN Gameday crew at the table next to us in Atlanta Friday night before the UNC game. Everyone but Lee, who probably would have cut up with us. A total bunch of stiffs-didn't even speak to one another while eating. The only one that they showed any interest in that stopped by their table (and most everyone left them alone) was when EA seemed to be quite intrigued by this hot blonde that was even taller (and MUCH hotter) than she is. She was pretty animated talking to her-of course we all let our imaginations run with that one.

In 1993 I sat in with Ray Charles and his band at the Iron Horse Festival in MCcomb, MS. After the performance we ate at the Golden Corral! LOL!!!!
I was really intimidated! I hate Golden Corral but it tasted pretty good that night.
