Got some people from our other plant in Ohio coming down next week.
They want to try crawfish for the first time
Any recommendations?

We looked up a few in the area:
Bertholot's
LA Boilers
Roux 61
Heads and Tails
Juicy's

Not seeing it on the menus of:
Parrian's
Acme
Mike Andersons

Lakeside. It’s not too far from College and they can have a few drinks after.

Bertholot's-not a restuarant
LA Boilers-same. just a pickup place
Roux 61-restaurant but have never had the crawfish there. im not a fan of the crowd
Heads and Tails-not a restaurant
Juicy's-no

Not seeing it on the menus of:
Parrian's-i dont think they do crawfish
Acme- i wouldnt get them there if they had them
Mike Andersons-i would trust them

I would add Sammys on Highland. Some people say they have a different pepper to them but I had them a few weeks ago and they were very good. They have a bar area you can sit in if you get there early like at 5pm. The restaurant is fine though

Lakeside is great but you can’t just roll in any ole time and get crawfish. It’s a bar that happens to boil on certain days at certain times.

I can’t believe I’m going to suggest this, but my friend whose company drags her to Drusilla seafood all the time says they actually do crawfish pretty well. Make of that what you will.

Sammy’s would be my suggestion.

Well probably have your own boil would give them the LA boil experience. Or have someone boil for you depend on how many people and get the beers. Company paid anyway right. To be honest most places do crawfish not to my liking.

But i suggest Sammy's, Lakesides or Roux 61 if you would go. atmosphere is better there.
