I was told it was made 'fresh' as you could possible get.
They had some sausage made yesterday,
in there today but I reached in the back and grabbed the oldest pack they had
(cause I'm weird like that)

It's still frozen ofcourse, but I got the
Jalapeno Cheese Pork Sausage.

It will be on the grill this weekend.

the girl told me today they make their cheese daily, and the ice cream just about daily.

she gave me a butter pecan shake today and told me the pecans were from the campus pecan trees!

it was the bomb

I made that sausage last week for class. Hope you enjoy it. I did. Also, there's some really good green onion sausage, but I had no part in it.

i was only in there a second
i think i saw regular smoked sausage, the green onion sausage, some ground beef, and i think some pork chops, it's just a small selection, all 'from the farm'

They could make a killing if they are.

Any idea on the hours? I would hate to have to get a "visitors pass" to go buy some stuff from there.

so does it come from the animals on the LSU farm?
I know the milk for the ice cream and cheese does, but I didn't know about the meat.

Do they sell just plain pork sausage? I don't like sausage with green onions, jalapenos or cheese.

Last October I bought a whole pig from the Animal Science people to put in my cajun microwave for a halloween party. It was amazingly cheap ($80 for 120lb pig)

They are open on game day and have the best ice cream anywhere.

They always have several cuts off beef, pork and lamb. They always have goat meat as well.

It's a nice little place and it's been open since I went there.
