Little get together later for the race; good reason to cook and have a drink. Ladies want to wear their hats for a picture lol
Smoked pork butt
BBQ beans
Potato salad
Corn casserole
Local business made iced race horse cookies
Of course mint juleps and mint julep pudding shots.
Finish the night around the fire with either a beer or an old fashioned

Me. 10 minutes to post, I grabbed some mint from the patio, added crushed ice, Woodford, and simple syrup. We enjoyed sipping the official drink while watching a heckuva race.
