Good luck w the non uppity or expensive. Awesome area though.
Used to live nearby. Caffe Luna Rosa is on A1A and has a great eggs benedict. Vic & Angelo’s is solid, really good bolognese.

I lived in Delray Beach and loved it. Unfortunately, I haven't been back in several years. My home office was there and our go to place to take clients from out of town was Tramonti. It's not cheap but treat yourself for one meal.

Del Ray Beach is just a little too far south for me. I'm an hour and a half north of there, but Benny's on the Pier might be something for you would like. It's not cheap, but it's casual and reasonable for the area and your on the pier and mostly outside - so the weather can be a factor. It's in Lake Worth, probably 15-20 minutes north.
