Making a store run to stock up the deep freeze, normally keep frozen chicken, tuna, and mix veggies for a quick meal. What do you stock in your deep freeze or freezer?

Wild game, my dad is a professional hunting guide, so this is never in shortage..
Grassfed beef, wife's, cousin has a ranch.
Bacon, buy the big packs on sale.
Waffles, kiddo loves them so I buy the big Costco boxes.

I love those things. I saw them for the first time at our local small grocery store several months ago, and I probably eat about a bag a month now.

They really are good. I just discovered them a few months ago.
I'm sure you can make better ones homemade, and I've done it plenty of times, but the wet batter really fouls up your grease. I've decided it's not worth the trouble since Nathan's are so good.

Beef, fish, peas and other veggies, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods (wife likes to bake), blueberries and other fruits. Might have some chicken and a butt in there too.

During hurricane season I scale back on how much I keep in my fridge and freezer

I will buy leg quarters and split chicken breasts when on sale, cut off the piece of back off the leg quarters and skin and debone the breasts.
All that is cut off goes in a pot with onion, carrots, celery, bay leaves a few herbs and spices to cook down to make chicken stock.
The chicken pieces are vacuum sealed and the stock is strained and put in quart freezer bags to go in the freezer.
I'll also buy shrimp from the lot in Westwego, usually between 25-50 lbs. at a time, peel them to freeze and use the shells to make shrimp stock.
When meat goes on sale, usually Zuppardo's, I'll buy whole N.Y. Strip bone in, untrimmed and trim it, debone it and cut into 1 1/2 in steaks to freeze. I use the bones to make beef stock and cook down the fat to make into tallow to use for making roux.
I grow a garden and this time of year I'm lousy with okra so I cook that down and bag it up and freeze to use in gumbos and soups during the year.
I buy whole pork butts when on sale and make my own boudin, hot, Italian, green onion and andouille sausage.
When I cook things like red beans, I'll cook 4 lbs. to put in the freezer. Same with red gravy with meatballs and Italian Sausage where I'll make 50 beef meatballs and make smaller balls with the Italian sausage to go in about 3 gallons of gravy to freeze.
It don't take me long to fill my 21 cu. ft. upright freezer.

Ditto. From June to October we try not to buy new freezer stuff and concentrate on eating the frozen stuff we have on hand.
