I only ate there once. We went for the beer and games. The Mechwarrior game rocked!

There is a place in Dallas called Barcadia. Booze and games. We had one here in Houston but they skipped town.

Perhaps someone from BR can buy the naming rights for it like they did for The Londoner and bring one to Baton Rouge.

I said a couple of weeks ago that it was supposedly coming (wife had a friend that works at The Advocate), but she was under the impression it would be near Cabelas in Gonzales.
this would be a much better location imo

Dave & Buster's has a great strategy but overall it's shite vale for customers.

Overpriced shite food.
Overpriced weak drinks.
Expensive games.

You'll easily drop 50 bucks in 2 hours there. Which, honestly, I don't mind if it had the clientele of somewhere like the Bulldog. Unfortunately, this place will turn into a dump in less than 6 months.

For the record, Shreveport has a cool arse bar downtown called Sandbar. Video games, pool tables, beer pong, strong drinks, TVs everywhere, ample seating, downstairs DJ/club/dance floor.

Unfortunately, it's nothing but white trash who go there so no thank you. Honestly, it would kick serious arse in a good area of town in a big city.

No fine arse girls go to and work at Walkons. Doubt we could say the same as DB.

Either way, glad it's hear, but unfortunately, it will become another Fun Fair Park.

Just have to have a dress code like Tigeland bars do.

It isn't hooters or Twin Peaks, but you go to D&B to have a good time, go bowling, shoot pool, play arcade games, watch sports and drink.

I'm sure it will do well there. Shamrock in NOLA is fun and sure it has a lot of the people that people here hate, but it's also a fun place to go at night and offers something to do. Plus they have live bands and a DJ on the weekends.

D&B will be great in BR and I think one in Metaire or Kenner would do good too.
