Cuisine doesn’t matter.
Going to The Ranch thur night. Thanks for anything you can offer. May have a drive a bit, that’s ok too.

Stayed there last weekend. Staycation for Garth concert. Go hang by the pool bar and check out the cougars and Milfs. It’s a known hangout
It’s a great hotel. You can walk over to an area that has some great spots. Less than a 5 minute walk.
Ginger Man- We had drinks and apps at. They actually have good food and a ton of beers on tap
Hugo’s- Upscale Mexican/SW
Cork and Pig- Great farm to table and whiskey joint
Pacific Table- Seafood
It’s a great hotel. You can walk over to an area that has some great spots. Less than a 5 minute walk.

Was there not too long ago and noticed a lot of vacant commercial spots with for lease signs in the Las Colinas development. I saw a nice little grocery store, a gym and a liquor store but the rest of the retail storefronts were vacant.
Any idea what’s going on with this? Seems like there are plenty of residential condos and apartments to keep retail alive and flourishing.

Do you have a reservation? I tried to go for lunch on a Monday last summer and they were booked.
Whiskey Cake is pretty good and lots of beverage options.

I went to some place called The Book Room or something like that for drinks and the food was good as well

People out on Hard 8 or something? It's not the best in the city, but it's good and it's not a half hour plus away from where he's staying

Pacific Table’s special tonite was garlic caper cream over Parm/Panko crusted mahi. Ordered it. Was great. Wasn’t planning on seafood n DFW, but Canadian friend wanted some… calamari/pepper app was solid too. Glad we stayed n area… easy in and out.

Ranch last night was great, too. Good spot. For the type establishment they are, admittedly surprised, but they Pittsburghed a bone in rib-eye last night to perfection.
