Saw a restaurant advertising that they have them. I’ve personally never had crawfish in December. Anyone have any yet? I’m very curious to hear about the size and price.

$7.99 a pound today in Metairie.
I didn’t get many and they were decent sized for this time of the year

Our coonass hunters brought 200lbs up that we boiled this weekend. Not huge by any means but they were great. They got wiped out.

"Crawfish Elvis" has never had crawfish in December? You gotta step your game up or give the name up.

Our "crawfish season" in Houma always starts around the 15th of November. That's when the restaurants start getting them. We usually pick up a 10lb special once a week or so. I dont start boiling my own until closer to Mardi Gras. It's usually just my wife and I and our 3 young kids.
