That part isnt.

But the washer works better than anything not commercial.

I agree...I have seen some other tub designs but I bet this one works very good IMO.

get two big plastic bins from walmart or something, big enough to hold a sack. drill a bunch of holes in one, we'll call it the strainer. place that one inside the other, dump your crawfish in. fill with water, agitate it if you want. pull the strainer one out, dump the dirty water out of the bottom one, repeat until the water is clear. takes just a few times, they come out really clean, and it costs like $10

Trust me when I say it doesn't work as well.

I have an old ice chest with a brass inlet so i can screw in a hose in the bottom. It doesn't work.

The spinning gets all sorts of loose debris out you normally dont notice.

I use a champagne basket and a big plastic tub (for icing kegs) works great.
