Crawfish/Oysters near Port of NOLA.

I just booked a cruise going out of port of NOLA and the cruise departs at 3:30. Any recommendations for a place that would be good spot to grab some taste of Louisiana open early near the port of NOLA?

For oysters, get chargrilled oysters at Dragos in the Hilton. That may be the only good thing on the menu but it’s worth going to just for the chargrilled oysters.

You can get oysters on the half shell or even better, charbroiled at Drago's by the Hilton Hotel near the Riverfront in downtown N.O.
They open at noon. That location should be fairly close to where the cruise ship departs. That should give you about a 2 hour window to enjoy so oysters.

Do you guys suggest anywhere else for crawfish? With dragos opening at 12 that could be cutting it a little closer than what I'd like. Someone in my group has a shellfish allergy and I'm honestly not sure if they can even have crawfish, but we both love good oysters. On the other hand I live on the east coast so getting good oysters isn't a problem for me.

Boiled Crawfish in the French quarter area isn’t really popular. Someone else may know of a place, but I do not. Mulates is close by, see what time they open. They may have crawfish dishes.

You can go to The Ruby Slipper for breakfast/brunch and get a taste of a local NO place and not worry about what time they open.

You didn't say what date you are leaving. Depending on when you're leaving, that may negate crawfish.

What day of the week? Urban south and NOLA have boils every Saturday. Miel and Port Orleans have them on Sundays. Gulf coast crawfish does the urban south, Miel, and Port Orleans boils, and they're great. All are either on or right off Tchoup right down the road from the cruise terminal.
For oysters, Drago's if you want gulf or charbroiled, Sidecar, Le Chat Noir, or Seaworthy if you want east or west coast. All are downtown.

I'll be in the minority by telling you to avoid Drago's and head to Grand Isle (or anywhere else) instead. The last time we ate at Drago's (pre-Covid) they had pre-grilled their oysters and then finished them off when an order came it. We sat at the bar and saw this. They were underwhelming to say the least.
I haven't had a bad meal at Grand Isle and plus they have pretty decent local brews on tap. If you have time you can walk across the alley to Ernst Cafe and get some cheap beers to get your cruise going.

Cruise is sunday-sunday. Flying in Saturday night and departing flight is Sunday at 4. I've spent my fair share of time in New Orleans so I don't care to make a day out of it, I just want to enjoy my favorite thing about Louisiana, which is some parish brews and top notch seafood. I may end up having more time to catch some food for the departing flight but I'll figure that out once I get off the boat

This would be my move. Find a brewery ot bar. Tracey's is another option.

parish like the brewery? sidecar had braincake last time we went, but that was it. urban south will be closest to the terminal with the most/best options for beer as far as the places serving crawfish are concerned.
if you have enough time to go up to riverbend, cooter browns has plenty of oysters and is doing crawfish on saturday/sundays too. plenty of parish on tap plus tons of other great beers. ghost, nova vert, bloom, reve, sips, etc are all on tap currently. their crawfish is solid there too. there and carrollton station (sundays at 2ish) are my favorites outside of gulf coast who does the brewery boils.

they've been running out faster than other places at least the couple times I went. gulf coast does 3 breweries a weekend including 2 at the same time on sundays and they've never run out the 20 or so times we've had them.

NOLA Brewing Co. does good crawfish Friday-Sundays.
Oysters? I guess Grand Isle on Fulton is the closest thing even though it's touristy.
