Gotta wait for them to get bigger...and we'll see how cold this winter gets...it's too early to tell!

I jump for joy when they get below $1.50/lb...then $0.99 is even BETTER.

Wish I knew people who had crawfish ponds

Around May. Wife's cousin was selling for $25/sack (33-36lbs.) around that time this past year.

You can find them in a select few places the last few years for under a buck a pound. Courvilles in port Allen generally sells spillway crawfish for .10 to .20 cents a lb less than the BR retailers, and they've generally been pretty consistent with decent size bugs.

Is this due to the new idea of farming crawfish for the late fall months that I read about a few months ago?

They've always started running the ponds in November, the crawfish are just small and expensive.
