Crawfish and Shrimp Boil

I have done countless crawfish boils but this time I am thinking of adding some shrimp in.
At what point would you add shrimp? I usually cut the fire off the crawfish right before it comes to a full boil and soak for 30ish mins.

It literally takes shrimp about two minutes to cook in a boil.
I would use a bag so you keep them all together.

I haven't heard of anyone doing this, but like the other guy said, i'd add them in a bag, probably as soon as you start soaking the crawfish with flame off. Take it out periodically and check for doneness.

Shrimp cook really fast. This is what I do…
Scoop out some of the seasoned water in a regular sized pot and let it cool down. Have the shrimp in a separate bag. Drop the shrimp in the crawfish pot after you kill the heat. Watch the shrimp until they turn pink (it can be really quick, 1-2 mins). Pull the shrimp once they are all pink and seem cooked. Then soak in the cooled, seasoned water in the smaller pot. As long as that water is cooled, you shouldn’t overcook ‘em.

I just do the shrimp separate inside, the bring them outside to the crawfish table.
1T Salt
1T liquid crab boil
1T Tony's
(per pound)
Boil, drop shrimp, take off heat and soak as soon as it gets close to coming back to a boil.

Before you add anything to the boil get your water boiling... add a touch of salt to help roll the boil. when its rolling add shrimp and halved lemons.... boil for 60 seconds. take them out and then go about your crawfish cook. Once you have cut the heat and cooled the pot add the shrimp back in and let them soak. They will be awesome.
