MAIN STREET MARKET

I'm shocked bigger vendors don't go through there. I guess it's because the hours aren't too great?

So what business market themselves the best and where do you consume ads for local businesses? Failing business waste money on ads

This is exactly the problem. I called one time to place what would have been a very simple, straightforward order and was told that they couldn’t take my order over the phone and I had to go online to place the order. And was told this I’m not exactly a friendly tone of voice. I thought that was strange, but went to the website which was not user friendly at all and after about 5 minutes, just said frick it, not worth my time.

Hands down the worse cakes in town. I know several other folks, who got $100 cakes and you couldn’t cut through the first layer of the cake. Hell of a cookie but shitty cake

She marketed herself fine to the foodie community since she is pretty active on Instagram, but I think others in this thread hit the nail on the head about her business model. She doesn't have a traditional bakery where you can walk in and buy a variety of items.

Ever go into Ambrosia or Baum's when it was still around? Packed to the gills with people picking up a bunch of individual sweets.

Unemployed/wannabe rockstars and washed up "chefs" having podcasts have all but ruined what could have been a great way to get honest feedback about food in the State. Forums designed to have people post honest criticism are simply sponsored now by larger places and negative reviews are removed. I'm not in favor of any business closing, but the area doesn't need another damn cookie shop, much less three more

I knew someone would pick that word out. I was just saying I think bad business model was her worst crime, and I'm normally a big "market better" person when it comes to restaurants.

She is fairly well known to people who pay attention to BR food happenings and attend food events, so I think if she had a bustling bakery with lots of baked goods you can buy on the spot, word of mouth would have easily reached the masses. Not gonna happen when you offer pre-order only and it is super limited.

They just posted on IG about the owner's health and that they were going to forego retail and concentrate on Cookies.
