Cookware set - advice sought?

I need a new cookware set, specifically saute pans/pots. I have some scanpan frying pans and love them, bu their larger pots are really expensive.
I would like to spend under $600, and get 4 pots - 1qt, 2qt, 4qt and 8qt.
Any suggestions? I have circulon right now for those pots, and the non stick on them sucks after 10 years of use.

Check sur la table, they are having a sale now on their house brand, which IMHO is all you need. You should be able to outfit yourself for that budget no problem. I ordered a few things online yesterday.

I have Tramontina set and I really like it. They sell on Amazon.
I checked at Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's and such and everything had glass lids except for the All Clad. And I don't like glass lids. The Tramontina's aren't cheap, but cheaper than All Clad and have solid lids.
You should be able to get what you want for $600 in the Tramontina line.

i have a set of caphalon that i love. got about 13 years ago and no deterioration in performance at all. don't know if they still sell them, but used to could get a pretty decent kirkland set at costco that was a really good starter set.
