Cookout is arse.

Fatties just love it because you can get a quesadilla as a side instead of fries ...

Hope they build it like this location. Who doesn't like a castle?

The property was recently set to become a Starbucks, but those plans fell through, with Cook Out's purchase of the property filed with the East Baton Rouge Parish clerk's office on Wednesday.

Love CookOut. We lived off of that shite at 3am after bars in Knoxville.

The ones in Atlanta aren't as great as locations in East TN and the Carolinas, but still good in a pinch.

Quality of service and food will depend on the employees. Given that this is BR, I wouldn't get your hopes up too high.

It’ll be just like Jersey Mike’s. Corporate is going to send down a competent manager to oversee the opening for 2 months and it’ll be amazing, then as soon as they leave some 46 year old Shaniqua is going to take over and hire all of her cousins and it’ll be closed next time corporate goes down for QC.

Last time I was at a Jersey Mike's, the girl making my sandwich had a piece of bacon hanging out of her mouth, and she was sucking on it like a lollipop.

She accidentally hit the bacon with her hand, and pieces of it went flying everywhere including my sandwich. She just kind of brushed the bacon pieces off the counter and went back to working, and I was like "Yeah, I'm going to need a new sandwich, and someone else making it."

I just walked out when she gave me the dullest look I have ever seen on a human face.

It will be the best hot dog in BR. "Cook Out style", I believe is chili, cole slaw, mustard and onion, Burgers have that charcoal backyard taste , get the same
cook out style.
Hushpuppies are not great, but better than average and a good car snack.

I haven't been, but I have a buddy who swears by this place

I went to a Cook Out in Durham a few months ago and the fries tasted like they were kept in a cigarette ashtray.

It's cheap & open very late. That's about it.

Yep, that in a nutshell. You can get a pretty fair amount of food for the price, but the quality is “meh”. Probably a notch above McDonald’s.

Haven’t been there in a few years, but best thing they had was their shakes. No idea if they’ve screwed them up by now.

I've had it a few times in Alabama and Mississippi. It's solid.

Cook Out is excellent. Milk shakes are amazing. Burgers taste like they have been cooked on a grill. Cook Out Tray is a great value
