I haven't seen them in the US, but I bought some beer from one in a Paris metro station when I was 17 and thought it was the most awesome thing in the world. So yes, they have them.

We had beer vending machines outside barracks at FT Lewis, WA in early 1970s.

They should have these at busy bars so you wouldn't have to wait for the slowness bartender

Not just a beer machine, but good Kirin Beer too.
I may have purchased beer from that very machine.

The laws against selling to under 21 put a damper on their availability.
I remember a country club that had one in the locker area. That was many years ago.
Great idea above for replacing slow arse bartenders. If only 21 admitted, maybe that could work.

Saw one in Lutcher once at a family reunion. It was just a coke machine with post-it's labeling Bud, Bud Light etc.
