Looking to get a new coffee pot(multiple cups) and would like some opinions. Anyone have something they consider great?

First thing to do is find a coffee pot that heats up water to a minimum of 196 degrees no less and as high as 203ish. Once you find these types off coffee pots then select. Best coffee extraction comes from these temperatures. Wasting your time in functionality with everything else.

Kitchenaid, Oxo and Cuisinart all make sub-200 dollar SCAA-certified coffee makers.
There are better out there for more money, but if you want a lot of traditional features (auto on/off, programmable, etc.) those brands probably offer more of what you're used to and still can make really good coffee.
I've had the Kitchenaid and now we use this Cuisinart
Haven't tried the Oxo but I have an Oxo grinder that is trucking along nicely.

Braun® BrewSense 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker
I don't know about you, but I want hot coffee when I wake up, no frills no fuss. Set this up the night before and I have hot coffee in the morning. Easy to clean and maintain, and a minimal footprint on our counter.

We have this one and it's a work horse. Has brewed at least 10cups/day for the past 3 years. The previous one lasted 7 years before the element wore out. The cup indicators on the side of the carafe wear out before the machine.
For $35, it's an awesome daily coffee pot.
You're gonna want a french press, or a chemex for any gourmet stuff, but for daily drinking, this is your machine.

I have the exact same one. It's awesome and if it breaks, no sweat it was $35
