If you want to do drip/auto pour over, get an SCA-certified brewer, there are more and more every year. I've had several over the years and all made very solid coffee that is quite comparable to an aeropress/French press once you dial them in.
IMO that's the easiest route to multiple cups of good coffee with the least fuss. Buy freshly roasted local beans and grind daily. But honestly, if you buy "Fresh Roasted" brand on Amazon, which is probably 30-45 days old by the time it gets to you (well after the snobbiest snobs will tell you is viable), it'll still make very drinkable coffee.
I drink a lot of different coffee but I turn a ton of people on to Tarrazu every year, it's probably the biggest crowd pleaser and rightfully so.

I’m smashing the doubt button
I could see a high end drip machine rivaling pour over, being it’s functionally the same process. But being similar to French Press? I have a hard time seeing how that would be physically possible, considering the backbone of a cup of French press coffee is the viscosity from the fines.
But if it exists, let me know

It’s comparable enough for me that I haven’t messed with any of my presses in probably 8 months, but ymmv

Try MoJo (Nola, 3 locations) or French Truck (Nola, 5 locations) beans. Read description on the bag and try until you find one you like.

This concept is intriguing to me, but based on the size, I assume it can only make a cup at a time?

I have the 03 sized switch and make 10-12 ounces at a time. That is the equivalent of two cups.
