Saw this for the first time yesterday in Academy. First I'd heard of it. Anyone tried it yet?

C'mon Man

Interested in giving it a shot but didn't want to ruin a sack of crawfish.

Maybe try it on a pound of shrimp first?

The description says it would serve as a great rub for grilled meat. I've never tasted boil mix that would serve as a good rub. I'd pass.

This/\. If it is good enough to put on meat to be grilled I doubt it's serious enough for dumping in a big pot of water to boil seafood. Sounds like it would be kind of bland.

Didn't notice that. You could have a point. Or is it a (dumb) marketing ploy to sell more bags. Anybody knows a crawfish boil mix ain't good on anything else.

Still looking for somebody who's actually used it.

I have used it once. I also saw it at Academy and pulled the trigger. I wasn’t a fan of it at all and neither was anyone else.

I learned my lesson with trying different seasoning. I’ll stick with Louisiana or Zaterains from now on.

Never tried it. How long are you boiling it?

That's the advice I'm looking for. Just find it strange that you're the only one who's actually used it. I think I'll stick with my Louisiana or Chackbay recipe. Thx.
