I heard they closed. They didn’t survive the pandemic. But surely there must be other Michael Symon joints still open.

Great Lakes Brewing would be worth a visit.

Symon has a BBQ place called Mabells. If you don’t mind paying $17 for a pulled pork sandwich and sides being a la carte at like $7 each. Brisket is $17 for a half pound. There is a Morton’s Steakhouse and Blue Pointe Grill has fresh seafood flown in daily from both coast. As far as breweries Masthead is downtown they do some good NE Ipas if that’s your thing.

Thank you for all the recommendations. We’re going to watch the Rays. First two games are at noon, so I will be watching LSU game from my IPhone.

Any bar recommendations near stadium for before game. Games are so early. Hopefully, bars will open at 10. Also, any old family Italian restaurant suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Italian Angelo’s in Little Italy for desert go to Prestis and get the Cannoli. Bars near the stadium. Winking Lizard on St Clair. It is a chain in the area. Good American sport bar food and that location has bout 24 beers on draft. The italian places you will need an Uber

the most interesting areas for food and drink are the westside (by the market) and Tremont, which aren't far from the stadium.

Some pretty good dumplings and italian in town, but that's for an extended stay.

Winking Lizard is an okay version of say, Plucker's.
