Sliced it around 2:45. Took off the little burnt end before this pic. Was delicious.



Came out great IMO.

nice!

ours was very excellent as well. I slowly reheated in a 250 degree oven and it was perfect.

horseradish whipped cream
Lima beans
sautéed red cabbage
garden salad
sangria
fig cookies

That’s part 1. I basically do the same thing. But may not always do a simple salt and pepper rub.

Hope all you baws had a wonderful Christmas. I was about to fall asleep a couple hours ago but got a second wind. Will try to stay up a bit longer.

Necessary? No. But this pit is 1/4” steel. It is certainly nice to have.

You’ve never used a pit like that to cook a large meal. We use 5-6 pits every year for our Boy Scout chicken dinner fundraiser, and the ones that aren’t counter weighted are much more difficult to use when you’re checking the chickens for doneness. They get real heavy after opening/closing all day long.
