Don't miss Edmunds Yoast.
Much better than Fig & SNOB, better than Peninsula Grill.
Half the suggestions in this thread are tourist traps. I was there two weeks ago for High Water and hit those 4. Edmund's is by far the best and the area it's in is cool to escape downtown.

Just got back. Magnolia's was awesome. We actually liked it better than Husk (which we got into by just walking in at 6pm on a sunday...got a table outside on the veranda at 8). Also really liked Hot Little Biscuit.
Went to Lowcountry Bistro for lunch, good, not great. Another broken egg cafe for breakfast, good, not great. Husk, while very good, was not the best meal I've ever had.
Hit the Farmer's Market on Saturday and there's a lot of cool, really good, local stuff there. Recommend that as well.
Didn't make it to Scarecrow or Edmund's Yoast.
Also, caught a 5 foot sandbar shark on our fishing expedition. Felt like trying to pull up the bottom of the entire harbor.

Them Hot Little Biscuits were on time! We were staying right around the block from Calllies and there was a line every day we were there.

We went to the location in the market and didn't have to wait more than 20 seconds. I suggest heading there to avoid the line (and you can pick up a gullah basket while you're there).

That basket's gonna cost more than biscuit money...
